IMPORTANT ADA POINTS TO REMEMBER • Standard engraved letters no longer accepted for permanent rooms or spaces.
• All letters will be upper case only.
• All signs must include Grade ll Braille messages in addition to raise visual messages.
• The minimum copy height for wall mounted signs will be 5/8" but no higher than 2".
• Typefaces will be sans serif or simple serif. This would include faces such as Helvetica bold and optima, but would exclude times and palatino.
• Contrast between copy and background colors must be at least 70%.
• The finish for both graphics and background colors shall be eggshell or matte finish.
• Mounting height shall be 60" above the finish floor to the center of sign.
